孙柏凤 Baifeng Sun

She enjoyed 13 years of teaching at the middle and high school level in China and 5 years teaching primary and middle schools in the U.S., her passion for Chinese culture and the Chinese language never stops. She has been facilitating rich, cultural exchange between the U.S. and China for communities.  She started the learning Chinese language and culture monthly journal of Learn Yu Wen in 2002, now she is serving a position in an American university in the east coast.

张华 Hua Zhang

Hua Zhang, MA in Second Language Acquisition and Language Testing. She served as the World Language Department Chair at the Miami Valley School in Ohio before working as the primary Chinese teacher at Williston Northampton School in Massachusetts. She is now the Chinese Language Department chair at Saint Andrew’s School in Florida. She currently holds an advanced professional license in teaching Chinese in Ohio and Maryland. In the past five years, five of her Chinese students entered the final round of the annual National Chinese Bridge Contest. Three of them were national champions. Two of them won the second place in International Chinese Bridge Contest. She has published multiple essays or books on Second Language Learning and Teaching since 1989. She has made multiple presentations at AP Chinese workshops or other teacher training conferences. She has been working as AP Chinese reader since 2008, and as Mandarin content consultant for the Pearson National Evaluation Systems.

王淑红 Shuhong Wang

Ms. Shuhong Wang, coordinator of Chinese Programs at Confucius Institute at UMass Boston. She is a senior lecturer specialized in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Renmin University of China and a member of the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching. Besides her teaching to international students, undergraduates and postgraduates in China, UK, New Zealand and the US, she has also engaged in different national and international programs of teachers training, Business Chinese Test (BCT), cultural presentation and learning materials writing. She has published dozens of text books of Chinese learning for higher education and secondary schools, including Kuaile Hanyu (《快乐汉语》Happy Chinese) which was twice awarded Outstanding International Chinese Language Teaching Materials.

高健 Jian Gao

Jian Gaobuilt one of the most successful Chinese programs in America at Belmont Hill School of Massachusetts, where students won numerous top prizes at the “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for High School Students held annually in America and China.  Many of her students placed out of the foreign language requirement at their universities, such as Harvard, Yale, Brown, Tufts just to name a few.  She is the author of five books on learning andteaching Chinese.

Currently, she teaches at Monomoy Regional School District of Massachusetts, and serves as the Program Specialist at Confucius Institute ofUMass Boston.

李兆红 Zhaohong Li

Zhaohong Li is the lead Chinese teacher at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland. She is also helping her school launch a K-12 grade Chinese program. Zhaohong taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 6th grade, and 9-12th grade. Her students won the 1st and 2nd place in Chinese Bridge Speech competition in State of Maryland in 2012. Before coming to McDonough School, Zhaohong was the Chinese teacher at Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas to help school launch a 9-12th grade Chinese program. Her students won the 1st place at the Chinese Bridge Speech competition in State of Texas in 2010. Her students also won the 2nd and 3rd places in Chinese Bridge Speech competition held by Confucius Institute of University of Massachusetts in 2007 and 2009. Since 2008, she has served as AP Chinese Reader for College Board.

Master degree in linguistics , currently working on her Ph D  in Instructional Design. 语言学硕士，课程设计在读博士。

许尔乾 Erqian Xu
